Staff, Board & Volunteers... Bring out the fundraiser in them all!
EVERYONE at a nonprofit agency is a fundraiser waiting to happen. Cultivation and fundraising events can require a bit of social finesse and skill. This session will empower participants to engage others in fundraising.

Fundraisers have an innate ability to talk to anyone about anything. Our colleagues and volunteers may not be as comfortable chatting up a stranger. A good fundraiser can help others be great representatives for their organization.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will know how to:
  • Teach staff, volunteers and leadership to cultivate and solicit donors

  • Show others how to work a room at an event

  • Share the organization messages with others

  • Meet others where they are


    • *Full participation in Bringing Out the Inner Fundraiser in Everyone is applicable for 3.0 points in Category 1.B • Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

    Instructor: Barbara Talisman, President of Talisman Associates, Inc., Chicago, IL. For more than 20 years, Barbara Talisman has worked with nonprofit organizations, their staff, leadership and donors. Her experience in nonprofit management empowers her clients and volunteers to advance their mission and achieve their goals. Embracing a philosophy of excellence, Barbara applies a no-nonsense, streamlined and efficient approach to creating and implementing fundraising efforts. No cookie cutters here. Barbara has been in the development field since 1983 and she is an Association of Fundraising Professional Master Trainer.
