The State of Fundraising in America

No Money - No Mission

As the dust begins to settle on the crisis of economy that this country has faced, where does philanthropy stand? How was the nonprofit sector truly affected and what can we expect of giving in 2010? Even more important, what did we learn?

No matter how long you have been in the business of raising money, there are fundamental principles that remain constant and true; but in flush times we have a tendency to take these elements for granted. What are the constants? What are the variables? What are the essentials to fund development success and does your organization have them in place?

Join Carole Rylander, CFRE, as she explores in a live webinar, these pressing questions. Gain insight to understand the state of your fundraising and how to position your organization for a successful 2010.

Instructor: Carole V. Rylander, CFRE, is principal of Rylander Associates, a professional consulting firm serving not-for-profit organizations since 1998 in funds development, planning and governance. With more than 25 years of service in the sector, Carole offers customized solutions to identify unrealized opportunities, address challenges and implement realistic work plans. Carole was named 2006 Outstanding Fundraising Executive by the Dallas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, is a past president of the Chapter and has held accreditation as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) since 1990. Currently, she serves as Past Chair of the Association of Philanthropic Counsel, Inc., a national association of consulting firms, and as a volunteer faculty member at the Center for Nonprofit Management in Dallas. In addition, Carole is a member of the International Association of Facilitators and is a Qualified Trainer with the Institute of Cultural Affairs.
