The State of Your Brand
Nonprofit Brand is Mission Personified!
We've just come through one of the most challenging years for nonprofits and our energy has inevitably been focused on the basics, in some cases, just keep the doors open; so why would you want to spend your valuable time talking about something like your "brand"? It might seem frivolous and "corporate", but your organization's brand is as important as your mission. In fact, your brand IS your mission! It is synonymous with what you do and why you do it. It is the relationship your organization has with the community. It is how donors, clients and the public at-large perceive your mission. It is Mission Personified.
Convinced it's important? Then explore with Laura Wooten of Wooten Communications, how you can ensure that your brand matches who your organization really is and understand how that can be the difference between getting funding support or not.
In this live webinar Laura will walk you through the steps to determine the state of your brand and how it should tie to your fund development plan. Take away real world knowledge on how to analyze your brand, why nonprofit branding is imperative to your long-standing success and how to achieve positive brand awareness for your cause, your mission.
Instructor:
Laura Wooten is sole proprietor of Wooten Communications; a consulting firm that helps nonprofits develop strategic plans tied to their missions and brands. In addition, she is an instructor and consultant for the Center for Nonprofit Management and works with Dallas-area nonprofits such as the Dallas Women's Foundation, Attitudes and Attire, and Special Care and Career Services. With more than 15 years experience in corporate marketing and communications, with companies such as EDS, Lucent Technologies and SDL International, Laura understands both the dynamics of corporate strategies and how nonprofits can best capitalize on these concepts.
